Original Oil Painting: 24 x 36 $1200
One of many top sail schooners which were used by the United States in the war of 1812. The American flag has 15 Stars and 15 Bars because two new states had been added to the union from the original 13.
The United States Congress decided after the war of 1812, that in the future, when a new state entered the union only a new star would be added to the flag and the number of bars would revert back to the original 13.
